Open position: Doctoral Researcher – wind farms in forests

The PhD project will examine the sustainability challenges of wind farms in Finland’s forested areas and develop new approaches to address the interconnected challenges of sustainability-driven land use change, wildlife conservation, and human well-being. In essence, we aim to find solutions for better aligning national sustainability goals with the well-being of local communities and ecosystems.The position provides a great opportunity to develop solutions for real-world issues and explore the complexity of sustainability transformations!
