New funding: sustainable and resilient forest sector

We have received a significant funding from the Strategic Research Council of the Research Council of Finland to our projct “Forests in systemic transition: balancing efficiency with fairness and resilience (ForTran)” , which will develop solutions to the sustainability challenges of the Finnish forest sector and provide visionary leadership for fair sustainability transformations . In this project, I will lead a work package focusing on the social-ecological resilience and sustainability transitions at social-ecological system (i.e. human society and forest ecosystem coupled together) level.
